Amitabh Bachchan fans can rejoice. The prolific actor par excellence has been quite experimental in his roles of late, be it a teacher suffering from memory loss in Black, an old man in love with a woman in her thirties in Cheeni Kum, an ageing patriarch in Sarkar Raj 2, and a ghost in Bhoothnath. But the best is yet to come.. Amitabh Bachan plays his most challenging role ever in Paa.
So what is Paa all about? It is the story of a boy who suffers from Progeria, an extremely rare genetic disorder in which a child ages three times faster than a normal human being. Amitabh will be playing that child with that rare terminal illness. He will be playing a 13 year old son, who looks 39. Abhishhek Bachchan and Vidya Balan will play parents to the child.
The team of Paa has been guarding the script fiercely for quite sometime and is confident that the film will strike a chord with the people. The team is planning to promote the film and most importantly create awareness of Progeria. We had Aamir Khan creating awareness about dyslexia through Taare Zameen Par.
