Arjun Rampal's best performance in Rajneeti

Jabalpur born Arjun Rampal is too sexy for a politician but has not deterred him by giving a fantastic performance in Raajnetti. Arjun Rampal's career-best performance is in Raajneeti. This just speaks volumes about how he has gone from strength to strength as an actor. Initially labelled as a non-actor,this 37 year old actor made some obscure choices in the form of movies like Dil Hain Tumhaara, Dil Ka Rishta, Hum Ko Tumse Pyaar Hain. His production I see You that he made starring cousin Kim Sharma was a big flop.

Things finally turned around when Shah Rukh Khan gave him the role of the vilain in the 2007 superhit Om Shanti Om. That role was actually going to Shiney Ahuja who refused it. Arjun Rampal sunk his teeth in the role and gave it his best shot. He was appreciated and after that Rock On followed. Arjun Rampal had finally arrived with Rock On with him walking away with many of the accolades along with Farhan Akhtar. Arjun Rampal even won a National Award for his performance. Simulatenously, he got a lot to learn from Big B himself while shooting for the Last Lear.

2010 has been exceptionally a good year for Arjun, as Housefull and Raajneeti have become hits. Arjun Rampal plays the role of Prithvi, similar to the role Kay Kay Menon played in Sarkar, a man of raging temper. He is in full form, watch him performing briliantly in the scene where he abuses an inspector and gets slapped in return, and snarls at him like roaring tiger. Also in the bomb-blast scene, where he senses something amiss. Great going, Arjun. Wish you all the best for Love You Maa, Don 2 and Abhishek Kapoor's next.
