It goes without saying that Sonakshi Sinha is the most promising new comer of 2010. Let us look at the Khamosh girl as well as others who shone as debutants in Bollywood for 2010
1. Sonakshi Sinha: : Though Salman Khan stole the show in Dabangg, Sonakshi Sinha’s endearing presence, poise and performance made many take note.
2. Barbara Mori: Barbara Mori, the Mexican dish had a mesmerizing chemistry. In fact, no actress has been able to create that magic with Hrithik Roshan as she did. However, the movie could not do justice to her.
3. Aruna Shields; The British actress with doe-like eyes and a svelte body, Aruna Shields was clad in bikini in Prince and dropped clothes for Mr Singh Mrs Mehta in a few scenes
4. Trisha: Trisha an established name in the South, ventured into Bollywood with a lead role opposite no less than Akshay Kumar. However, a de-glam role in the first film is not really a good thing to do, which is where she paled against the likes of Asin and Genelia.
5. Priyamani: Priyamani has sexy eyes and she can act really well. She debuted in Raavan in a small role and was also in Raktha Charitra 2. Again a bad choice of films, she could have waited!
6. Ranveer Singh: The boys did not have much of a chance in 2010 to make their mark.However, Ranveer Singh was an exception, the latest release Band Baaja Baarat had everyone who watched it raving about his performance
7. Amrita Puri: Amrita Puri a theater artiste, shone in Aisha; as a next-door girl she was brilliant
8. Lisa Hayden: Super model Lisa Hayden, half Malayali and half Australian created waves with her debut in Aisha.
