Salman Khan Makes Fun of Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Salman Khan took loud potshots at Sanjay Leela Bhansali, in his direct, inimitable style, clearly showing that he has no interest in working with the director. It so happens that sometime back, when they were on good terms, Sallu had gifted Sanjay Leela Bhansali, a DVD of Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige, which became the inspiration of Guzaarish.

Sallu was peeved when SLB took Hrithik Roshan for the role of the protagonist.
During a television awards ceremony on Monday evening, Salman Khan who was present to felicitate physically challenged achievers, was in a candid and rather unforgiving mod. When talking to a hearing impaired girl, he cited the movie Black and asked the girl whether she had ever met Sanjay Bhansali. Before she was wondering what to say, Salman stared at her and went on a rattling spree in his sarcastic tone about why she should meet the director. He said,“Jaake usko milo. Voh tumhare pe picture bana dega, khud khoob kamayega, lekin tumko kuch nahin dega,” (Go and meet him, he’ll make a film on you. He’ll make pots of money but won’t pay you a dime).

“Salman was pretty loud, it was apparent that he wanted everyone within ear-shot to hear what he was saying,” says a source. The Dabangg star who was once friends with SLB wondered why the Khamoshi didn’t do any charity as he had made enough money from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Black.

As Salman grew more gruff, one of his audience asked him for his opinion on Guzaarish. Looked like Sallu had a ready answer as he wasted no time in saying. “Arre, usme toh makhi udd rahi thi, lekin koi machhar bhi nahi gaya dekhne. Arre, koi kutta bhi nahin gaya,” Even though there’s a fly buzzing around the film, not even a mosquito went to see the film, referring to the film’s poor box office collections, he said, as the people had a good laugh. When asked whether would have done the film, Sallu smiled “Nah. Apan Dabangg se khush hain.”
