Will Aamir Khan's Talaash be able to beat Kaahani ?

Aamir Khan is all set to release the most awaited movie of 2012, Talaash on November 30. There were rumors that Aamir was not happy with the final portions of the film and he had asked for re-shoot of the film. The superstar has declined this and has confirmed that the movie will release on the said date. However, the question remains, will it be able to break the record of Kahaani , the Vidya Balan suspense thriller which took the box office by storm ?

Kahaani released on March 9, 2012 and was declared a runaway hit thanks to its plot and a novel script. Talaash, which means 'search' also seems to have a similar plot, the story of someone searching for a person dear. As we know, Vidya Balan was also searching for her missing husband in Kahaani.

Aamir Khan, being the perfectionist he is, would like to keep mum and would like to do his movies to talk for him. He is also known to be a pro at promotions and one should be seeing some real smart and innovative work at marketing because he is joined by producer Farhan Akhtar. At the same time, Vidya Balan's work at promoting Kahaani was equally commendable as she created the right amount of curiosity by walking along the platform in the guise of a pregnant woman.

Well, now that Aamir seems happy with the way Talaash has shaped up, it remains to be seen if it can do better business than the low-budget suspense thriller which had only one female star and relatively unknown faces.
