Music review of Fashion: Fashion high on music!

Madhur Bhandarkar's films usually have no music or bad music. Fashion is Madhur Bhandarkar's best work as far as music is concerned. The music director Salim-Sulaiman have done an excellent job in Fashion, and have hit the right notes. The album opens with the song ‘Fashion ka jalwa’ sung by Sukhwinder Singh and rapper Robert 'Bob' Omulo. You get a Kaal type feel to this song

The second song is emotionally touching and melodious, called ‘Mar jaava’ sung by Shruti Pathak. The Arabic voice coupled along with Shruti’s velvety voice is simply heart rendering. Mohit Chauhan and Neha Bhasin come together for yet another fascinating duet of the joy of love in the song ‘Kuchh Khaas’. Salim Merchant bounces back with an upbeat ‘Aashiyana’ . Though it may sound a little monotonous, the song does grown on you. Theme of Fashion is flamboyant and reflects the content of the film Fashion. Trendy tunes and touching melody come together as one in Fashion . Definitely, a must listen. The only glitch-the remix versions of the tracks in the album.
