Salman Khan Clarifies 26/11 Terror Attacks Controversy video

Salman Khan is in the middle of controversy for his remarks on 26/11 terror attacks episode. He does not have time to bask in the success of the movie because his remark that 26/11 attacks were overhyped because only elite people were killed, found stiff opposition in various quarters.

On the behalf of Salman Khan Foundation’s Being Human community on Facebook, Salim Khan, the father of Salman Khan said, ''Media Should not Hype so much on any Issue '' . If People are Hurt by Salman's Statement he will Apologize"

Salman, 44, invited flak with his comments to a Pakistani TV channel: "Too much hype has been created around the 26/11 attacks because elite people were targetted. Attacks have happened in trains and small towns too, but no one talked about it so much."

"Everybody took this up because the Taj and Oberoi hotels were involved. The attacks happened because our security failed," he told the Pakistan Express channel.

He also said: "Everybody knows that the Pakistani government was not behind it and it was a terrorist attack. Our security had failed. We have had lot of attacks earlier, and all of them were not from Pakistan. They were from within."

Not only the Shivsena but also the chief minister of Maharashtra express their anger on Salman Khan's stand on 26/11.

"I don't know what Salman Khan has said but Kasab's arrest and court's verdict have made it clear that Pakistan's hand was there in the conspiracy, in the attack against India. Once the verdict is given by the court, there is no room for anyone's opinion."

He added, "The attack was not only on Taj and Oberoi but also on CST where the not so rich were also killed. Irrespective of one's financial status, terrorist attacks are always horrendous. We should all stand up against terrorism," Chavan said.

Salman Khan also tweeted a link to Youtube where he clarifies his stand. He said, ‘TV is making it insensitive. Terrorism has no religion, no faith and no guts.” He said that he did not mean to hurt anyone’s sentiments. But Salman Khan tweeted saying that henceforth he would record all interviews to prevent such controversies.
