Aamir Khan's upcoming movies are Talaash and Dhoom 3. The title of Aamir Khan’s new movie to be released in 2012 is Talaash. The name seems apt because the entire team include Aamir were in the dark, ‘searching’ for a film and it looks like the search has come to an end with Talaash (the search). Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee are the female leads in the film. It is a suspense thriller directed by Reema Kagti and produced by actor-producer-director Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani.
Prior to Talaash, there were a few titles being circulated by the media without an official confirmation either by Aamir Khan or Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment. The names that were floating were Murder, Razdaar and Dhuaan. Aamir who collaborating with his co-producers ten years after the still-so fresh Dil Chahta Hai (2001), says, , “We’d never titled it Dhuaan. We don’t know where the name came from. It’s a suspense movie and there’s little patchwork left on it. I’ve shot an underwater sequence in London with Kareena during the Diwali week. It gets a little annoying to answer questions posed with the wrong name of the film.”
The release date of Aamir Khan’s new movie Talaash has been set for June 1, changed from January 26. The release date of the film coincides with the close of IPL season in 2012.
Meanwhile, the actors have been already instructed to undergo special training for Dhoom 3. Katrina Kaif is taking paragliding training and singing lessons (yes Katrina Kaif will sing a song in Dhoom 3), Abhishek Bachchan will be building body while Aamir Khan is all set to attend ballet classes.

Dhoom 3 is Aamir Khan’s much awaited film but one will have to wait a lot for this one because the release date of Dhoom 3 has been postponed to 2013. The film co-stars Katrina Kaif. Though Dhoom 3 was to release in 2012, the date changed to 2013 because both Aamir and Katrina are very busy with their professional commitments and a project of Dhoom 3’s magnitude requires complete preparation and one-minded dedication. A detailed discussion between director Vijay Krishna Acharya, producer Aditya Chopra and Aamir Khan ended up with the consensual decision. . The director said, “Dhoom:3 is very dear to all of us as well as to its audience who expect only the best from the franchise. While the shooting will finish in time, we expect the post-production to take much longer.
