Check out Kareena Kapoor Halkat Jawani pics from her movie Heroine, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. This is her sizzling item number which is supposed to be one of the main attractions of the film.
Kareena Kapoor believes that Halkat Jawani is her raunchiest item number ever. The pink saree teamed with black blouse is catching the fancy of the nation and the bindi adds to the sizzle.
“This is the raunchiest number I have ever done. There's so much exposure,” Kareena Kapoor giggles. She adds, “I have always done classy songs. This song has more mass appeal,” she added.
We have had so many item numbers each one trying to out-do the other with the latest Pritam Pyare from Rowdy Rathore becoming quite famous. The most popular item girl actress Katrina Kaif has been the go-to girl for expensive item songs thanks to her amazing performances in the form of Chikni Chameli (Agneepath) and Sheela Ki Jawani (Tees Maar Kha).
Malaika Arora, the original item girl with songs like ‘Chaiya Chaiya’(Dil Se, 1997), ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ (Dabangg, 2010) and ‘Anarkali Disco Chali’ (Houseful 2) revealed that she was quite impressed with Kareena’s commitment and enthusiasm. But it is not just one item number that she will be doing Madhur Bhandarkar has said that Kareena Kapoor has two item numbers for Heroine.
Well, hold on…can we really say that Kareena Kapoor has an item number in Heroine ? Because when the lead actress does a song for the same film, it cannot really be called an item number, it is just a danceable number for the film. In that retrospect, Sheela ki Jawani is not an item number but Chikni Chameli is. What do you think ? By that logic, shouldn't Madhuri Dixit's 'Ek Do Teen' song from Tezaab back in late 80s be also be an item number ?
