Vidya Balan not in Isqhqiya sequel, Kangna Ranaut to replace her

The sensuous quotient of Ishqiya Vidya Balan is not going to be a part of Ishqiya 1. 5 (the sequel). Evidently the actress is upset because she had pinned high hopes of being in the sequel. Her good friend ‘Arshad’ is also not too happy with the change. The producer of the film Vishal Bharadwaj who is not going to have Priyanka in the sequel of Kaminey, does the same with Vidya in Ishqiya’s sequel. In both the cases, the leading women had strong roles to play and had won away with accolades. In fact, apart from giving Bollywood, the hottest kiss ever, Vidya Balan also won many awards for Ishqiya.

Director Abhishek Chaubey who directed the first part will also direct the sequel. He says, “Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi do fall in love again in the sequel but not with Vidya. They fall in love with two different girls. The script doesn’t have a role for Vidya, unfortunately.” It is believed that Kangna Ranaut and Madhuri Dixit will be the two girls in the film.
