It is the casting coup of sorts, Shah Rukh khan has managed to rope in superstar Rajnikanth to shoot a cameo for him in Ra. One. This will definitely ensure him a dedicated audience who are sold to the box office prowess of Rajnikanth.
Though Rajni was to to resume shooting for his own magnum opus Rana from November, as he is recuperating from an illness, he has decided to shoot a special appearance for SRK’s film. King Khan and his team had actually thought of settling for a Rajnikanth look-alike but then he decided that it would be better to rope in the original. SRK went to the Tamil superstar and persuaded him to do a cameo.
Rajini will start shooting on October 4, at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad for the sequence. It It is believed that the actor will mouth his famous dialogue from his movie Bhasha. How will Rajnikanth’s entry be in the film? Well, we have got some dope for you. The scene has SRK fighting a gang of villains but finds that he has stiff opposition from the gang that has deadly weapons. Suddenly, Rajnikanth appears in his trademark style in a vehicle. In the quirky ‘Rajni style’, he will make his high octane car suck up all the weapons from the villains, prompting SRK to ask Kareena Kapoor who the man was. That is the time when Rajni will be uttering the much-loved dialogue.
Ra. One will be releasing in Tamil and Telugu on the same day as the Hindi version, ie; Diwali. Many people do not know that it was Shah Rukh khan who was supposed to do Robot and produce it as well, but then things did not work out. Director Shankar wanted the title of the film, which SRK humbly parted with. Then the director went on to make the movie with Rajnikanth, and the rest as they say, is history.
Coming to the present, SRK who plays G.One in the film, is all geared up for Ra. One release; the promotions are going full-swing. He has managed to get some of the best stars to be a part of his film. Apart from Kareena Kapoor who plays the female lead, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt have guest appearances in the film; they are villains too and work for their boss Ra.One (Arjun Rampal).
