Hrithik Roshan is one of the best actors in the world, leave alone Bollywood. He is one of the few actors to have won an award to have won an award every time he has been nominated. One of the most handsome men of our times is beyond looks and body, he is a fantastic actor too. Aamir Khan rates Hrithik Roshan as his favorite actor. We can see the similarity, both are perfection personified.
Which movie do you think is Hrithik Roshan’s best till now and which one has his career- best performance? Let us go through the actor’s best performances
1. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) – Hrithik Roshan looked million bucks here, and since his role required him to play just that, he was effortlessly brilliant. The movie had a layered role for him. With every passing reel of the film, you see Hrithik softening from being an arrogant career-oriented person to someone who can have fun and jive with his friends.
2. Guzaarish (2010) – A really complex role, Hrithik Roshan was magnificent as a paraplegic in Guzaarish. He played the role of a magician turned radio-jockey who gives joie-de-vivre tips to his fans, while he is begging for his own death. Though the movie flopped, Hrithik established himself as one of the best actors Indian cinema has even produced. Plus he showed that his heart was in ther ighr place when he rejected the idea of organizing the premiere with him making an entry on the wheel-chair.
3. Jodhaa Akbar (2008) – When you think of Emperor Akbar, you instantly remember ‘Hrithik Roshan’. The actor played the role with clinical perfection, every nuance was accurate. The royal gait, the diction, the air of royalty; Hrithik got it all correct.
4. Dhoom 2 (2006)- Hrithik Roshan was the single-most reason for Dhoom 2 to be a huge money-maker. The actor looked super eye-candy and he played the role of a thief to the hilt.
5. Krrish 2 (2006) was one of the best years for Hrithik with Dhoom 3 and Krissh both being big hits. In fact, people and jury were confused which film had Hrithik Roshan as the best actor. The best thing in the film was the understated role of Krissh’s father in the film, which he played as the double role. Any other actor in his place may have overacted in that role but Hrithik was again bang-on.
6. Koi. Mil Gaya (2003)– Hrithik Roshan played the role of the mentally challenged child-man with so much sincerity that he was compared to the best in the world of cinema who played mentally challenged role. Easily, awesome stuff.
7. Kaho Na Pyaar Hai – This movie was an audio-visual treat and Hrithik Roshan entered Bollywood like a fresh wave. Girls loved him, boys wanted to be like him. 2000 had a lot of children being named after Hrithik Roshan. Need we say more ?
8. Agneepath (2012) - As the commoner Vijay, Hrithik Roshan is outstanding. His persona may have been overshadowed by Sanjay Dutt in the role of Kancha Cheena. But as a role, the actor does clinical justice, getting everything right from his body language to his expressions.
