Both Shaapit and Phoonk 2 have released and both of them were watched by people who like horror films.
Vikram Bhatt, who has directed Shaapit has said that the Phoonk 2 Challenge of asking a person to watch the movie alone in a theater does not really prove the horror element, because according to him the true test of horror film lies in actually scaring a crowdful of theater. Director of Phoonk 2 states that the true test of horror film is in making a person watch it alone because when he or she is in company, they will pretend to laugh and dismiss it as a funny thing to conceal their real emotion.
