Kareena Kapoor's Dabangg 2 item number, is already getting enough news bytes, even though they have to yet shoot the song. The item number in Dabangg 2 will be a rustic one just like the famous Munni number of the original, which is one of the best item numbers ever in Bollywood. Incidentally, Malaika Arora will not be the item girl this time, Kareena  will be taking over.

Kareena Kapoor has also done item numbers before like a remix 'Yeh Mera Dil Pyar Ka Deewana' in Don and Its Rocking, from a flop movie called Kya Love Story Hai. Salman Khan has made it clear that the song should be rustic and have asked the music composer Sajid-Wajid to compose a fast-moving rocking, rustic number. Kareena Kapoor will be given two weeks to rehearse for the song and Salman Khan will also be a part of the Dabangg 2 item nuber.
