Nathalia Kaur also known as Nathalia Pinheiro is an actress of Indian- Brazilian descent. She is a model, actress and also an opera singer. Born on August 15, 1987, the 24 year old Nathalia Kaur hails from Rio De Janerio, Brazil. Her father is an Indian while her mother is Brazilian. She has a law college degree from Universidade Cândido Mendes in Rio De Janerio. Nathalia Kaur started modelling from the age of 14 and was clear about getting into the glamor world.

In 2012, Nathalia was made the Kingfisher Calendar Girl in 2012. Her first film was actualy a Kannada film called Dev Son of Mudde Gowda directed by Indrajit Lankesh. Director Ram Gopal Varma was so besotted by her and the Nathalia Kaur bikini pics in the Kingfisher album, that he chose her to an item number called Dan Dan (the ‘Cheeni’ song) in his movie Department. The song and Nathalia remains the only electrifying part of the flop film.

The reason why Nathalia Kaur changed her name to ‘Kaur’ instead of Pinheiro because she thought her name was difficult to proncounce for her Indian fans.

The actress has only good words to say about India. She said that she did not have to struggle much for role. She says that she likes to choose things herself. "Settling in India was relatively easy because her agency set up everything. "Right from my apartment, to my car," she says. "I did not have to struggle looking for accommodation and jobs."It just so happens that I am in the right place at the right time. That's what happened with me and Ram Gopal Varma."

Nathalia says that that she simply loves Indian food and the people in the country. "I love Indian food. I don't have continental food any more, I just eat Indian food," she says. "I have a cook who cooks lunch and dinner for me every day. I go out and eat pasta sometimes just for a different taste, otherwise it's rice, dal, chicken biryani..."

Working in India is wonderful," she says. "People here are so nice. They are always worried about you, and they stop to eat! I have never seen that in my entire life abroad. They are always offering you food and they are always worried about your well being. I love working here."
